Tom Brashear

Tom has over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry. After graduating with a degree in Business Management from Stephen F. Austin University, he received his early training and experience at Shearson Lehman Hutton, Inc. Since those early days, Tom has seen the ups and downs of the market and has served his clients' interests through the Gulf War, the Dot Com Bubble, 9/11, and the Great Recession. He has worked for different firms over the years and in a number of capacities, including Branch Manager.

With the goal of providing more personalized service to his clients, Tom decided to open his own practice in October of 2010. Taking inspiration from the rugged, conservative values of the Old Preston Road, and paying homage to the recurring name of Preston among the Brashear men, he opened shop under the banner of Preston Capital Management.

Tom holds his Series 7, 8, 63, and 65 licenses.
